The Makings of an Artist

Novalee and Kurt had a fantastical time at the Peninsula Fine Arts Center in their Hands On For Kids Gallery. Notice Kurt's careful brush strokes and how Novalee paints with a bit of a flourish. She recently decided that she wants to be an artist when she grows up, so this was a wonderful experience for her. Oh, and Novalee + paint = Huge Super Giganto Mess

A&D as Hair Gel?

My incredibly mischievous daughter took it upon herself to "wash" her hair today using - no, not shampoo...that would be too easy to rinse out - A&D ointment while she was supposed to be "going potty." Well, after two thorough scrubbings, I thought I had gotten it out, but no, it's still quite slick as I figured out once it was dry.
